I am a registered psychotherapist and counsellor in good standing with the BCCSW and BCCASW (BC College of Social Workers, and BC Association of Social Workers). I hold a Master of Clinical Social Work from the University of Victoria, and graduated from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, with a degree in Somatic and Transpersonal Counselling Psychology. I have been working as a therapist in Canada since 2010, and in Colorado since 2007.

I provide therapy in private practice to a broad community in Vancouver (in person), and virtually (through Zoom).

My study of buddhist philosophy, eastern psychology, and embodied interpersonal neurobiology over the past two decades inform my worldview in deep ways; for several weeks each year, I study in silence in the great wilds to further explore and unfold the complexity of Mind, Soul and our interconnected human experience in the great web of life and the cosmos.

I work from a place of interconnection, understanding that our distress and our strategies for coping are informed by our surroundings, relationships, and social context. I am motivated by people not having to be alone in their pain. I often work with people who are seeking more empowering ways to find relief from feelings of grief, a lost sense of self or safety, meaning or performance, inadequacy, relational stress, depression, anxiety, heartache or feeling alone. I have a particular sensitivity to understanding the layers of grief, fury, and anxiety about social and systems collapse alongside the climate crisis. I look forward to the possibility of working alongside you.
